Field Trip Central is a design studio that provides professional design services including branding, print design, and web design (collectively, "Services"). We may also offer the option to subscribe to our newsletter through Substack for updates, insights, and design resources.

8. Design Services Terms

8.1 Project Agreements

Each design project will be governed by a separate written agreement, proposal, or statement of work that outlines the specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees. These Terms apply to all Services provided, in addition to any project-specific agreements.

8.2 Payment Terms

• Payment terms will be specified in each project agreement
• A deposit may be required before work begins
• Final deliverables will be provided upon receipt of full payment unless otherwise agreed in writing
• Late payments may result in project delays or suspension of work
• All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise specified in the project agreement

8.3 Intellectual Property and Ownership

• Upon full payment, client receives ownership of the final approved design deliverables as specified in the project agreement
• Field Trip Central retains ownership of all preliminary designs, concepts, drafts, and any work not explicitly included in the final deliverables
• Field Trip Central reserves the right to display completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing
• Client warrants that all materials provided to Field Trip Central (text, images, logos, etc.) do not infringe on any third-party rights
• Stock photos, fonts, or other licensed elements may require separate licensing fees

8.4 Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

• Provide timely feedback, approvals, and necessary materials
• Respond to requests for information within a reasonable timeframe
• Ensure all content provided is accurate, legal, and does not infringe on third-party rights
• Understand that delays in client feedback may impact project timelines

8.5 Revisions

• The number of revision rounds will be specified in each project agreement
• Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur additional fees
• Major scope changes may require a new project agreement and additional fees

8.6 Project Timeline

• Estimated timelines will be provided in project agreements
• Timelines are estimates and may be affected by client feedback delays, scope changes, or unforeseen circumstances
• Field Trip Central is not liable for delays caused by client-side issues or circumstances beyond our control

8.7 Termination and Cancellation

• Either party may terminate a project with written notice
• Client remains responsible for payment for all work completed up to the termination date
• Deposits are non-refundable
• Upon termination, Field Trip Central retains all rights to preliminary work and incomplete deliverables

9. Disclaimers

The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that:

• The Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
• The information provided is accurate, complete, or current
• Any defects will be corrected

Regarding our design Services:

• While we strive for excellence, design is subjective and results may vary
• We do not guarantee specific business outcomes or results from our design work
• Client satisfaction with design aesthetics is subjective and may require collaboration through the revision process

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Field Trip Central shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Field Trip Central, its affiliates, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your use of the Site or violation of these Terms.

12. Changes to Terms
